camping bay of fires tasmania

Most of the camping area at Bay of Fires, on the magnificent East Coast of Tasmania is open, however there are a few poles. This camping area has terrific ocean views from inside most motorhomes or caravans. The toilets are the old-fashioned drop type and the log cabin styling matches the bush feel of this area. The campsites at Bay Of Fires are pretty much as good as you will find, made all the more remarkable by virtue of the fact of this unbelievable location - you can stay for up to four weeks for free; no passes required. Please note that during the busier and hotter Summer months, this is a very popular location and the chance of getting this campsite to yourself are remote. However, if you are prepared to forego the sea views there are typically plenty of private spots.
