Branxholm is a quiet timber producing town located app. 90 kilometres north-east of Launceston. Driving time to the Branxholm campground from launceston via Scottsdale is approximately one hour and 25 minutes. The Branxholm camping area is accessed on the B52 Road; app. 25 kilometres east of Scottsdale and 8 kilometres west of the township of Derby. This campground at Branxholm has sites suitable for a caravan and tents and has showers and toilets in the amenities block. There is a barbecue area and tennis court available for use by guests. The Branxholm Camping area provides easy access to the Briseis Walking Track, and is located alongside the Ringarooma River. Branxholm Centenial Park camping ground has both powered and unpowered sites, with toilet, shower and laundry facilities available. Situated in the middle of town, and on the banks of the Ringarooma River, this park also offers a tennis court, playground and swimming pool (fees apply) and provides easy access to the Briseis Walking Track. No pets are permitted. Branxholm Centennial Park - Conditions of Stay - book your site at the Branxholm IGA Supermarket on the opposite side of the road. The campground Branxholm is located just over 9 kilometres from the Blue Derby Mountain Bike Park and makes it a popular, and afforbable camping site when mountain bike riding Blue Derby.

Please note that the rates are for up to four people per campsite. The maximum stay is 4 weeks and pets are allowed, but only at the Manager's discretion. Boil or treat water before drinking. Just a 5 minute drive from the Blue Derby MTB Trails at Derby. Branxholm has a number of walks within close proximity including the Great Briesis Water Race walk. Facilities include free electric barbecue, showers (AUD$2 per use), toilets, laundry, powered and unpowered sites.
