Granite Point Conservation Area is located in Bridport, in North East Tasmania. Bridport is located on Anderson Bay and is a small fishing town that is very popular with visitors during the warmer summer months. The camping area Bridport at Granite Point is a large area located right on the beach. Access to the Bridport Campground is via Bentley St and is signposted from the Main St. The nature of the park makes this area difficult for larger motorhomes. Bridport is located app. 60 kilometres east of Georgetown, and 21 kilometres from Scottsdale. Bridport is app. 85 kilometres northeast of Launceston. Campsites at Bridport are located amongst trees in a natural setting. It is recommended that you book for Christmas, Easter and long weekends. This was soon ranked in the top 50 courses in the world and is rising.
