Free camping Cosy Corner South, a stunning location Bay Of Fires with many camping areas immediately nearby and to the south. This is one of two areas at Cosy Corner, being Cosy Corner North and Cosy Corner South. Cosy Corner North is better suited to larger caravans, campervans and motorhomes. At Cosy Corner South there are pit toilets, no water or firewood and no rubbish collection. Maximum stay 4 weeks - dogs are OK if on leads and under control at all times. It is important to note that this campsite is very popular around School Holiday time, Christmas holidays and at Easter time and long weekends. Cosy Corner is not suitable for really large rigs. Cosy Corner Free Campground is a large camping area close to the coastline with many camping areas nearby and to the south. Video Cosy Corner North Campground. There is signposted access off the Gardens Road, just over 5 kilometres from Binalong Bay Road. Cosy Corner South Campground is located at Binalong Bay, just a short drive from St Helens where you will find grocery stores, hotels, many cafes, food outlets and other services. The road into the campground is generally pretty good, and the campsite is very easy to find. Take Binalong Bay Road (C850) and The Gardens road (C848) from St Helens for app. 13.5km. Turn east for 2km towards the beach, where you will find the camping area. The camping ground offers app. 50 campsites. Swimming and fishing are popular activities at Cosy Corner South camping ground, however, please take care near water as conditions can be unpredictable and change quickly.
